Terms of service

These terms apply to using lidl.jilek.dev ("the site"), a free service run by a private individual ("the operator"). By using the site you agree to them.

What the site is

The site tracks prices in Lidl's online shops in Germany, Czechia, Slovakia and Poland, shows their history, compares countries and can alert you. It is an unofficial project, not run, endorsed or supported by Lidl. Lidl and the brand names shown are trademarks of their owners.

Prices and promotions

Prices, stock and promotions are collected automatically and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Promotion terms and code prices are read from Lidl's pages automatically, partly with AI, and may be wrong or no longer valid. What counts is always the price and the terms in Lidl's own shop at checkout. The site sells nothing; you buy from Lidl.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for what happens with your account. You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy).

Alerts and emails

Alerts are sent on a best-effort basis: an email may arrive late or not at all, for example when Lidl's site can't be reached. Don't rely on them when timing matters.

Fair use

Please don't access the site automatically (bots, scraping), overload it, try to get around its security or use it to break the law. We may block access or delete an account that does.

Availability and changes

The site is free and provided as it is. Features may change, and the site may be interrupted or shut down at any time without notice.

Liability

As far as the law allows, the operator is not liable for damage from using the site or relying on its information, such as a purchase at a price that turned out to be different. This doesn't limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
